Please note that some GPS units don't do very well in country areas. If you are using a GPS please check that you are going to Wombat. A common mistake includes ending up in Wombat St, Young - Thats twelve kilometers away! 

 

From Sydney 

allow 4hrs + stops

 

 

• Take the Hume Hwy (M31)south of Sydney past Campbelltown. Go past the exit to Canberra towards Yass / Gundagai, staying on M31. Keep going past Yass, there is a service station on the left of the Highway with a McDonalds 

• Turn RIGHT on Burley Griffin Way (route B94), about 15 km past Yass

• Travel through Binalong, then through Harden/Murrumburrah

• Turn RIGHT on to Wombat Road, about 1km out of Harden/Murrumburrah at the top of the hill, past the cemetery

• Travel 12km till you reach Wombat. The Wombat pub will be on your left

• Turn RIGHT at the Olympic Highway (A41) towards Young at 'T' intersection

• Travel for 1.5km

• We are on your LEFT!!

From Canberra 

allow 1.5hrs

 

• Take the Barton Hwy towards Yass

• Take the Melbourne exit (you will pass Yass McDonalds on your left)

• Turn RIGHT on Burley Griffin Way (route B94), about 15 km past Yass

• Travel through Binalong, then through Harden/Murrumburrah

• Turn RIGHT on to Wombat Road, about 1km out of Harden/Murrumburrah at the top of the hill, past the cemetery

• Travel 12km till you reach Wombat. The Wombat pub will be on your left
